Bill is a passionate advocate for helping people grow in knowledge, wisdom and stature. Having served well over 100,000 students in many countries he brings his in-depth experiences designing world class curriculum and outstanding facilitation skills to ICW Institute.
Bill joined the staff of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1976 working with Automotive Apprentices. During 26 years at NAIT, he was a highly effective instructor eventually moving into key roles in academic and administrative leadership. As the Manager, Staff Training and Development Bill established the Becoming a Master Instructor program which is still marketed around the world.
In 2003 Bill joined the University of Alberta as the Manager, Staff Learning and Development, a position he held for 11 years. Bringing a competency-based approach to the development of staff, he was instrumental in leading the development and implementation of 3 different programs recognized nationally and internationally for their instructional design and unique approach to program implementation.
Of all the tasks required to design and deliver world calls training it is important to spend time on the things that matter the most. ICW Institute offers the opportunity to reduce administration of programs by automating almost all activities associated with delivery and frees up the designers and facilitators to do what they do best.
